Philippinen - Palawan und Boracay

Wie musste ich gerade lesen....."jeder Urlaub geht irgendwann mal vorbei"...wie wahr...=(

Wir waren zu einer Hochzeit auf Palawan eingeladen (deswegen von dort nur wenige Bilder) und anschliessend ging es nach Boracay.

Die Kirche bei 36 Grad, 75% Luftfeuchtigkeit und nur mit ein paar Ventilatoren an der Wand ausgestattet 8o:

Eine Fahrt in einem der Jeepney's ist ziemlich abenteuerlich....die meisten haben wenig bis gar kein Profil auf den Reifen und es sitzen -je nach Groesse- bis zu 20 Leute in der Kiste....ohne Klima.

Danke für die klasse Bilder und für´s Mitnehmen.

Das Meer ist immer noch so sensationell und der White Beach ist nach wie vor weiß.

Wir hatten Boracay von vielleicht 15 Jahren besucht. Keiner vermietete Liegen am Strand und die Bars, Restaurants, Shops, etc. lagen nicht direkt am Strand. Da gab es den dichten Palmenhain und den Strand. Die wenigen Bars, etc. lagen alle in gewisser Entfernung dahinter. Boote lagen auch dort, aber es waren nur eine handvoll. Die Unterkünfte bestanden bis auf ein Hotel, aus Bambushütten. Die Zeit vergeht und nichts ist so beständig wie die Veränderung. Ich weiß nicht, ob ich nach diesen Bildern nochmal nach Boracay möchte. Ich habe mal ´was von Malapascua gehört......

Meine Frau war 1993 auf Boracay und sagt genau das. Die ganze Haeuserzeile direkt am Strand, die kleine Strasse dahinter etc., etc.. Damals brachte das Boot einen direkt an den Strand, der wohl viel breiter war, vor "deiner" Bambushuette. Tourismus ist natuerlich Einnahmequelle #1 und da wird die Kuh mal so richtig gemaestet.
Darueber hinaus ist April der school summer holiday month, was es nochmal voller macht.
Vor 3 Jahren waren wir auf Amanpulo, ganz andere Welt, aber eben auch finanziell. Nachher kann ich mal zum Vergleich ein paar Amanpulo-Bilder einstellen.

Es ist aber auch nicht fair, Amanpulo und Boracay zu vergleichen. Amanpulo ist ein Luxury Resort, wo es nur 40 Haeuser gibt - in Verbindung mit dem aufgerufenen Preis, relativiert sich die Klientel logischerweise.
