Rolex service prices in the UK

Hi Folks,

just back from the UK.
Atuel prices what Rolex is charging for a service:

Vintage (plexi) Sub and GMT => GBP 670
DJ (plexi) => GBP 515
DD (plexi) => GBP 609
DJ saphire => GBP 425.

Rolex is asking for a premium for all plexi/vintage models.
Had a DJ and a DD serviced earlier this year. Base price for the DJ was GBP 275, total was GBP 690 and DD was GBP 385 and came out 810. Base price includes an overhaul of the movement and gentle polish. Everything else goes on top.

Thinking what I had to pay earlier this year for the DJ with the extras (flywheel,old date disc, .....) it would come out now with nearly GBP 1.000 !!!
You can ask yourself now if it make sense or not having a "cheaper" (lower market value) Rolex serviced at Rolex.
It's a different story for 1675 or 1680 models.
