Reinhold Messner Rolex........

Entlich nach langem warten, habe ich Hernn Reinhold Messner getroffen ;-) Rest in English ;)

Yesterday for my birthday I traveled with my wife to
to have a good time together in Italia. First stop
was Bolzano, beautifull little place in Sud Tirol..

Everything was perfect, the weather, the food, life can be good ;-)

Next stop was the imposant Castle Sigmundskron on top of the mountain, where Mr Messner
started the MMM Firmian, Messner Mountain Museum (Check for background info his websites
www.reinhold-messner.de & www.messner-mountain-museum.it ) Reinhold Messner is living hero
to me, a pure legend who proved that the imposible IS possible. His MMM project he calls the
15th 8000mt mountain he conquered, 14 x highest mountains & his mountain museums makes no.15

And then, after such a long time having contact together, we finally met and shaked hands ;-)

What a super interesting individu he is indeed, a peacefull charismatic speaker I trully respect!

We really had a great time together and enjoyed every minute. While flying back home over the Alps
only thing I could think of is how happy I was to meet yet another Rolex legend from the past ;-)

I attended one of his talks a couple of years ago! And yes he is a great speaker!!
Is it his own explorer he is wearing on the pictures?

Philipp, very impressing!! Was it difficult to convince Reinhold that sitting around with you, playing with Rolex watches and posing for you camera was a good idea? How did you make it?

Ja, sehr schwierig / fast unmöglich aber
seit fast einem Jahr haben wir contact,
dies war aber das erste Mal das wir uns
getroffen haben, es ist sicher nicht leicht
um Herrn Messner am Tisch zu bekommen.
Seine Begeisterung & Symphatie für die Familie
Hillary und Tenzing hatt da schon einiges geholfen :D

Die Uhr die er trägt ist ein Proto wass ich special
für ihm gemacht habe. Die neue 42 mm in Weiss.
Wir denke das wir ein zauberhafte combination
machen werden die sowohl die Heritage von Herrn
Messner als auch die von Rolex perfect unterschreibt!
Balt kann ich euch mehr zur ganzen Sage sagen, biss
dann zeig ich euch "exclusive" ein Close up von einer
der Protos, sage aber nachdrücklich dabei, das es noch
viel spannender wirt wass wir genau machen werden ;):gut:
