Hhier ein paar Bilder vom Schottischen Fairlie am River Clyde. Man sieht noch eine Mauer ins Wasser ragen, das sind Fundamente der alten Fife-Werft. Sie wurde aber 1984 abgerissen und an ihre Stelle Reihenhäuser gebaut.

1990 wurde die Tuiga auf Zypern von Duncan Walker entdeckt und in abenteuerlichen Seereisen nach England gebracht. Dort, vor der Werft Fairlie Restoration am River Hamble unweit von Southampton wurde die Einrichtung ausgebaut, das Deckshaus entfernt, nicht brauchbares Material von Deck und Rumpf demontiert...

...und schließlich Rumpf, Deck und Inneneinrichtung fast komplett erneuert. Dabei konnte man auf viele erhaltene Originalteile zurückgreifen oder diese zumindest als Muster für Neuanfertigungen von Möbeln und Beschlägen nutzen.
