In English, weil mein Deutsch nicht so gut ist. Antworten in Deutsch is kein problem naturlich, lesen get mir besser wie schreiben :)
Just before christmas, I received an e-mail from one of my favourite jewellers in The Netherlands, telling me that the rings for my wife were ready to pick-up (they needed to be made a bit smaller) and that he received an Audemars Piguest 15202 as a trade-in for a new watch from his collection (he is authorized IWC, Omega, Breitling (a.o) dealer) of watches. He asked if I knew someone for that watch. Instead of sending an e-mail back, I called him to ask about details on this watch (condition, age etc.) and if he was willing to accept another trade. He did. So I proposed to trade-in my Audemars Piguet 15300 (regular Royal Oak date) and some cash for this Jumbo.
Last thursday, the 24th of December, I went to Amsterdam with my AP15300 (which I really liked, and still do) to check-out the Jumbo. The Jumbo appeared to be in good condition, had the dark blue-ish dial which I like and then we discusses the amount of cash needed to trade. Although the 15300 is a bit more up to date in terms of case and bracelet design, the 15202 is (imho) 'the original' and worth the extra money, especially because of the superb movement (caliber 2121). I actually wrote on my blog (some time ago) that the 15300 is much more interesting than the 15202, but in this weak moment, I gave up the thoughs I descibed at http://www.fratellowatches.com/archives/2009/05/28/ap-royal-oak-15300-more-interesting-than-the-15202-aka-jumbo/ and http://www.fratellowatches.com/archives/2009/06/18/the-latest-addition-to-my-collection-ap-ro-15300st/
So, with a bit of pain in my heart, I traded the 15300 for the 15202 and am wearing it since then. I really have to get used to the small and thin bracelet, but it is sooooo comfortable. The lack of a seconds hand is very quiet for the eyes and the little space between the dial and the sapphire crystal is amazing. This watch is so thin. The movement alone is 3.05mm (with rotor) and the watch in all is about 7 or 8 mm. I never had a watch this thin, and although I have fairly large wrists (I am 1.90m) it does fit perfectly.
Enough talk, here are some pictures:

Oh yeah, I also got the rings back home :) However, I gave up explaining why this watch was worth the extra cash over the 15300 I had.
