Thought I'd pass along a few photos I got while attending my very first Dayton Air Show. Though I've lived in the Daytona area since 1998, I've never gone to the air show - now I can't wait to go back! I was able to score some great chalet tickets through work, which made the experience much more enjoyable for me. I brought the family along, and was able to get tickets for good buddy and WTF member John Rigano. Unfortunately, it was quite cloudy and overcast so the photos we both got weren't as good as they could have been, but I managed to get some decent shots.
John and I both wore our aviation themed watches:

First up was the the Brazilian Smoke Squadron:

The C-17 demonstration was very impressive.

Rigano reading the program and resting durning the break - he rented a fairly massive 300mm prime lens for the event...it takes a toll.

The Thunderbirds did not disappoint....except when then have part of the group doing a manuver in front of the crowd, and one of the other members sneaks in from the side and hits the afterburners creating an instant 1 kagillion decibles and a crowd full of soiled underwear....

I got plenty more photos, but this was the first batch of "good" photos I was able to "clean up" - I'll try to add more to the thread as I finish processing them.
