My son and I did a fair amount of snorkeling while in Hawaii:

Here's some underwater shots taken with my Pentax Optio "point and shoot" that's water resistant to about 15 feet. Unfortunately, the screen isn't very legible underwater. So it's more "point and pray" when using it under water. That, and the fact that the fish don't really stop moving combine to create less than ideal photographing conditions. So many of these shots are a little blurry. Sorry.
