We just celebrated the US Labor Day holiday this weekend, but I did some work by the pool and decided to snap a few photos while I was at it. So excuse this slightly off-topic post...but at least it's a German pen, and I do include some Rolex talk too. ;)

My initial impressions of the pen (when arrived last week) are quite favorable. It's a VERY thick, heavy pen, and writes quite well. I love the floating logo cap too. The resin portion of the watch has a very iridescent quality, not unlike the dial on a 16613 two-tone blue Submariner. You don't notice it as much in indoor lighting, but outside, BANG! The pen really has some flash.

This is my first "fine liner" - very smooth. I think I do like the way it writes better than my ballpoint Montblanc Meisterstuck.

Of course, a photo of my beloved TT Submariner, referenced above:

If this MB helps you to do some work by the pool, why not?
Kind regards
Volker

Hello John,
I use a Rothring writer instead and save my money for watches. :D
Kind regards

I am going to have to introduce you to vintage Montblanc pens. :)

This reminds me of the Montblanc Jules Verne Writers Series LE from 2003.

Its absolutely stunning..and hard to photograph..
