I know the watch isn t perfect as yours but I m in love.

The dot is missing, it s without box and papers, and the band isn t in a good shape...

oh come on, as if such things would change anything on a watch like that. You have it, you love it, what else do you want? Those small flaws are what makes a watch unique. :gut:

Lovely watch! I love watches that are scratched and have been properly used. As a matter of curiosity, if Rolex were to service it, would it be as water resistant as a new one?

jason, you should keep your bezel as its used look is really cool.

mine has been exchanged during a refit at rolex and covers a sl pearl now, so that the look of the bezel is much to clean in my eyes.

but the domed plexy should not be to hard to find.

congrats jason, that´s a very nive watch!

this is my 5513 from ´66, it´s a meters first... it doesn´t have a pearl
but there´s something in it that looks like an old piece of chewing gum.
