With some manipulations on the picture “something” comes up:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v463/MatthiasRBO/watches/PreBasel08.jpg
So we know, that there will be a new divers watch. Whether it will be a new Submariner and/or a new Sea-Dweller or maybe a watch with a completely new name, we will know for sure within some days.
Regards
Matthias
Great preview...thank you...I bet its a new Sub ;) 300 meters in 42mm case :grb:

Let´s say you could decompile the swf-movies on the Rolex web site to get all the files the flash is made of you get this one picture:

So I don´t think it´s gonna be an new Sea Dweller at least ;)

Blue bezel for the 116618? Or steel/silver/platin bezel for the "100th Edition"?
The new bezel seems to be like the ones on the military Submariner. Cool.

Maybe a mistake from the web designer and he used only the new wrapping paper design for tha basel fair. :D

One of the most recent Trademarks registered by Rolex at the "Eidgenössische Institut für Geistiges Eigentum", the Swiss Patent & Trademark Office, is a Name which could be a hint towards a new type of diving watch (Marke 531171):
ROLEX DEEPSEA :grb: ;)

I hope the case will not increase to 42-43mm, but if it will still mesure 40mm, I will buy the new SD, maybe the 116600 reference ...

Prof - good show. I was thinking about doing the same thing! It looks a little thin to be a Sea-Dweller...but what do I know...

Any more doubts? :D

I wrote "one of the most recent" because swissreg indicates that after the above filing date, Rolex filed merely 5 other trademarks ("ROLEX PRINCE"; "THE ROLEX INSTITUTE"; "ROLEX GLIDELOCK"; RINGLOCK"; "ROLEX, IT'S TIME TO SHARE"). ;)
Unfortunately, "DEEPSEA" is not distinctive. Nevertheless, cool name :gut:

i wonder if we will get to see more tomorrow, like last year with the introduction of the yachtmaster :grb:
i guess they will add a few more lights to the background to show a tiny bit more of the watch every day, but we will not be able to see more then Jason's pic above before friday.... :ka:
If it is a new seadweller, wow, think i better start saving then! :gut:

Some more oil for the fire:
A TZ-Member had the idea to have a look into the internet-cache. Following please find an extract from my “Temporary Internet Files” after a visit to the english Rolex-homepage:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v463/MatthiasRBO/newmeasure.jpg
The new measure!!!! The remaining question is now, whether the new measure relates to the diameter of the watch or to the allowed diving depth. I assume we know all the details latest tomorrow afternoon…….
Regards
Matthias
Great info and good question...
Thanks for posting!
Could it be a new super dome??? The crystal looks curved to me?
