Hi Guys,

First post on this wonderful forum.

Its only appropiate that my first post is for a watch going to an important collector in Munich.

Just arrived from Rolex UK today after a sercvice and authentication.

Its a wonderful example of a Rolex Miliatry Submariner ref 5517 with Maxi Dial.

Not many of these around.

Regards,
K

Very nice to see you here too Kamal!

I have an idea where you bring this beautiful 5517 ; - )

Indexes of the dial look so white compared to the sword hands, did Bexley do anything on it?

Hello Kamal,

Very nice example. Thanks for sharing.

It seems I am unable to post on your site. I have written some emails of inquiry which have gone unanswered.

Rolex UK Service centre do not touch dials.

Scan was taken with a Camera flash and extra lights, and that maybe the cause. Dial is original tritium and never touched.

Hi Kamal,

very happy to see you here,... and i hope we will share a lot of passion and knowledge here,.. as on other places.

The threads on the Red-subs and the Daytona-dials,.. gives extra info to the community!
And i guess,.. there will be a lot of killerwatches added on this forum.

The 5517 is amazing!!!!!! I guess i know who will be smiling! Another great lover!
Thanks for sharing.... and the Milisubs are the most amazing watches...
I still enjoy every second wristtime.

Hope you will share your knowledge with all of us. So another beauty sold to Germany...such a shame that I moved all the way to London. ;(
