I was busy with this one for quite a while and now just after my skiing holyday i finnaly got it in my hands ; - )

One of the earliest Submariners with ref 6204 and 949.xxx serial [ 2.53 ] and ultra rare texture dial [guillochet - honeycomb] and difficult to read but still there the OCC stamp at 6 o'clock. Further having fine pencil hands and very rare original bezel. This one has not the secondhand with the dot at the end but here it's a big lollypop like on the 6538. Case is also in very fine condition with it's like new looking 9 3/4 A 260 movement in giving excellent time...

Here are some picture i made, enjoy & thanks for watching!

Thanks & finding a 6200 is not the problem for me....it's paying it ; - )

Here a nice scan from the first Sub ad with text " ...2 years of guarantee against everything, including accidental damage " and 66,= pounds sounds much more friendly than what i paid ; - )

Now that's a great piece worth being part of a collection - not for daily wear of course - but a fantastic part of Rolex history! :gut: :gut: :gut:
