Hi there!
I have a simple question to make. At the bottom of the dial of my OP Date (E series) is written "T SWISS MADE T" which, according to what I know, indicates that the radioactive material Tritium is used on the hands and hour markers for illumination. The Tritium is now very very faint !
When I have my watch serviced, will this be replaced by Luminova or Tritium?
Thank you!

If this is not the right place to ask, please move my question accordingly.

Original von elmar2001
not the markers will be replaced, the dial will be replaced.

That in fact is the usual way by sport models. Date, Datejust and Day-Date
often only get new markers.

Thanx Jocke,

and the good thing is, it kills germs, plaque and you will never need a mouth wash like Listerine again. :gut:
