Lissabon Ende März- Tipps erbeten

Moin,

wir ( ok, Idee kam von der Dame des Hauses...) möchten gerne in der Osterwoche ein paar Tage in Lissabon verbringen.

Ich war noch nie in Portugal, und ausser einer sehr netten Krankenschwester aus meiner lang zurückliegenden Facharztausbildungszeit kenne ich auch keine Portugiesen (ok, Ronaldo ist mir ein Begriff, aber eben auch nicht persönlich bekannt :bgdev:) :

Was schaut man sich denn da so an?

Wo geht man hin zum Essen?

Und wo wohnt man am besten (Stadtteile, sollen ja sehr unterschiedlich sein....)?

Ich war im September da und habe an der Avenida de Liberdade gewohnt (südlich). Das war ein toller Ausgangspunkt für unsere Touren.

Essen kann man ÜBERALL gut, einfach vieles ausprobieren, was von außen nett aussieht.

Lissabon genießt man am besten, in dem man sich treiben läßt, das war jedenfalls meine Erfahrung.

Abends auf jeden Fall ins Barrio Alto, da ist richtig was los: viele nette Kneipen und tolle Restaurants.

Edit: suche dir auf jeden Fall ein Hotel, welches in der Nähe der U-Bahn-Linie liegt, billiger und schneller und komfortabler bin ich noch in keiner Großstadt zu meinem Hotel gekommen: 2 €, einmal umsteigen und ZACK war man am Hotel.

Packt euch auf jeden Fall bequeme Schuhe ein, Lissabon ist viel auf und ab.

Ansonsten wie von Martin beschrieben in Sachen Mangiare. Die Optionen (auch die Guten) sind schier endlos.

Mal mit dem Zug (kleines Geld, kurze Fahrzeit) nach Cascais ist vor allem in der Nebensaison immer eine Option.

Wir waren über Silvester in Lissabon, wunderbare Stadt. Sehr coole Weinbars, kleine Bars, tolle Restaurants.
Am besten vorab de Lissabon Card checken, damit kannst du dann auch alle Öffis nutzen, U-Bahn, Straßenbahn etc. sind wirklich gut ausgebaut.

Weinbar kann ich empfehlen Enoteca LX - die befindet sich in einer alten Wasserzisterene, sehr geniale Location. Und unbedingt auch Portwein trinken, wobei die Rot- und Weiweine wirklich sehr empfehlenswert sind.

Ich würde gar nicht zu viel planen. Man kann sich wunderbar treiben lassen. Ab und an mal auf einen Café oder Wein einkehren wenn die Location und Aussicht gefallen. Wir waren eine Woche dort, da kann man auch mal nach Belem fahren für die weltberühmten Pasteis und nach Sintra. Der Nahverkehr den ich hier meide wie der Teufel das Weihwasser hat dort toll funktioniert. Wirklich eine überragende Stadt, freut euch drauf!

Essen unter Portugiesen mein Favorit: Zapata. Aber: ``früh``da sein, denn ab ca. 19:30 Uhr wirds voll ohne Reservierung.

Wenn Du genug Zeit hast und die Stadt schon soweit durch, nimm die Fähre rüber nach Almada (Cacilhas) und spaziere den Hügel hoch zur Christus Statue.

Alfama Viertel mit seinen Hügeln zu Fuß erkunden, gemütlich den ein oder anderen Kaffee trinken.
Alle Miradouros abklappern und die Aussichten genießen.

Und wie schon gesagt wurde: wenn Du die Stadt soweit gesehen hast + Almada, fahr mit der Bahn nach Cascais ;)

Ansonsten wurde viel bereits gesagt. Bequeme Schuhe. Lissabon ist ein auf und ab :) Treiben lassen. Hier ein Bier, da ein Kaffee + Pasteis de Nata.

Ich kapere diesen Thread mal. Bin übers Wochenende in Lissabon. Habe ein kleines Boutique Hotel mit ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg südlich zum Bairro Alto. Habt ihr ein paar Tips für fußläufig zu erreichende Restaurants, Bars und Cafés?

Eh, die Enoteca LX sollte in ca. 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen sein denk ich.

For a nice Portuguese-style cuisine in a picturesque building we have Casa do Alentejo.
The prices are in my opinion fair for the quality of service, food and the nice decorations inside the building, with motifs from different cultural influences from Portugal across the centuries.

It is a building in Cais do Sodré which used to be a brothel for sailors many many decades ago.
It was renovated but the interior decoration still speaks of burlesque.
It has one section with sofas to sit and have a drink and also a part to dance if you so wish.
Don't go too late - after 22h00 it starts to get really crowded with long lines to get inside - the price of Lisbon's fame.

"Miradouro" can be roughly translated as "a place to gaze from".
Different "Miradouros" are around downtown, giving you a nice view of the different hills of the city.

Going up this elevator gives you a nice view of the city.
Unfortunately it has become too touristy and long gone are the days where you could get up in 20 minutes or less.
At the top, you can go down the stairs and check out the ruins of the Convento do Carmo.

Pastel de Nata is a famous Portuguese sweet.
Pastéis de Belém sells a very good version of pastel de nata.
There are huge lines outside it, you cannot miss it.
They go rather fast despite the long queues, from my experience.

Sintra is another city. Around 40-50 minutes by car/bus.
It is a beautiful city with some places that were also used in the set of Game of Thrones.
Trains also available from the Rossio train station.
It has beautiful villas, a palace and a castle.

I think potentially staying at least one night in Sintra will let you see everything in a relaxed way, but I don't know the pace you wanna have during your stay.

Das Aquarium hat mir nicht gefallen, aber das mag an persönlichen Vorlieben liegen.

Zur Fortbewegung bietet sich UBER an, die Fahrten sind spottbillig.

Es ist zwar nicht typisch portugiesisch, aber immer wenn ich in Lissabon bin, dann esse ich da: La Brasserie de L’Entrecôte. Das ist in der Nähe des Aquariums.

Normalerweise beginnt die Saison ca. Anfang November aber aufgrund von Hurrikan Erin kommen aktuell bereits hohe Wellen an. Ihr müsstet euch vor Ort über den aktuellen Stand informieren.

Danke für die Tipps Richard. Wir haben uns auf viel Lauferei eingestellt. Insofern schaue ich mal, ob wir auf die Tipps aus dem Video zurückkommen. :D
