Unser diesjaehriger Weihnachtsurlaub brachte uns -mal wieder- nach New York. Ich will versuchen, den Thread nicht zu lang werden zu lassen, denn die Bilder hat man so oder so aehnlich schon 1000x gesehen. Im Vorfeld haben wir uns mit Winterklamotten eingedeckt, um dann, als es naeher an den Abflugtermin ging, festzustellen, dass uns in den ersten 2 Tagen 22 Grad erwarteten. Etihad fliegt seit kurzer Zeit 2x pro Tag nach JFK, 1x davon mit dem A380. Da passte es ganz gut, dass es im Oktober eine Aktion "buy 1, get 1 free" fuer die Business Class gab. "The Residence" war online leider ausgebucht, de facto aber leer, als wir geflogen sind :motz:

Tickets bekommt man wohl nie....abgesehen davon, dass am 18.12. die letzte Sendung fuer 2015 lief.

Wir hatten wieder den "New York Pass" gekauft und eine der Attraktionen war "The Ride" oder "The Tour" (letztere angeblich identisch, aber kuerzer). Wir hatten "The Ride" gebucht (Tickets direkt neben Madame Tussauds), aber den "The Tour"-Bus bekommen, da der andere nicht verfuegbar war. Egal - hier sitzt man seitlich zur Fahrtrichtung und hat grosse Panorama-Fenster und ein Glasdach. Zwei Moderatoren unterhalten die Fahrgaeste und der eigentliche Gag an der Sache ist, dass es interaktiv mit Passanten ist. Lautsprecher an der Aussenseite lassen den/die Moderatoren mit den (ausgewaehlten) Passanten kommunizieren, die dann Tanzen, Steppen, Rappen, Saxophon spielen etc etc. Dies war ganz nett, ist aber sicher noch ausbaufaehig - vielleicht gibt es in der warmen Zeit mehr Action.

schön ist es dort. ich kann nur empfehlen, auf dem strip auch "das phantom der oper" zu buchen. das ding ist so ranzig, wie die oper im stück selbst. das ist wirklich magisch. ich kann nur empfehlen, viel zu laufen und alles mit der ubahn zu leisten, dann ist man mittendrin statt nur dabei. der big apple saugt einen auf und so sollte man es auch tun: alles aufsaugen!

Digital Blending nennt sich das....aus 3 uebereinander liegenden Bildern, dann mit Photoshop maskiert und Adjustment Layern gearbeitet.
