Armani Hotel Dubai

Letzte Woche waren meine Mutter und Schwester hier zu Besuch und wir haben auch einen Abstecher nach Dubai gemacht. Da wir 2 Naechte in Dubai uebernachtet haben, musste ein geeignetes Hotel gefunden werden. Burj Al Arab, Mina A'Salam, Dar Al Masyaf und Emirates Palace kennen sie schon....also warum nicht im hoechsten Gebaeude der Welt uebernachten - im Armani Hotel ?

Wir haben den "Armani Classic Room" gewaehlt, der 70 qm gross ist ( http://dubai.armanihotels.com/stay/stay_classic_room_en.html ).

Ja, der klare und eher nüchterne Stil gefällt mir gut! :gut:
Wie positioniert sich denn dieses Armani-Hotel?
Preislich und auch bzgl. Angebot? Eher für Städte-Touris oder auch als Tagungshotel?

Zimmer gehen laut Trivago so ab 650 EUR los... :pale:

Für Dubai, die Location und im Vergleich zum sonstigen Preisniveau der vielen eher gesichtslosen Hotels dort mag das wohl in Ordnung gehen.
Andererseits: Kein Strand...
Für Tagungen sind 160 Zimmer eher zu knapp, denke ich.

Kleine Episode am Rande...

Im Zimmer meiner Mutter/Schwester habe ich auf dem Bettbezug 4 deutlich sichtbare versprenkelte schwarze Flecken mit je einem Durchmesser von ca. 4 cm gesehen...irgendwie faellt/fiel mir das direkt auf....nur warum dem Roomservice nicht ?
Auf jeder Etage gibt es einen "Lifestyle Manager" und beim Einchecken wird einem mehrfach gesagt, das diese(r) bei allen Fragen/Problemen zu kontaktieren sei.....also habe ich die Dame kontaktiert und gesagt, dass das nicht meiner Vorstellung eines 5-Sterne Hotels entspricht, worauf sie sich sofort 1000x entschuldigte und die Bettwaesche unverzueglich ausgetauscht wurde.
2 Stunden spaeter klingelte es dann an der Tuer und es gab auf Kosten des Hauses:

Fand ich sehr bemerkenswert - fuer mich war die Sache nach Austausch der Waesche erledigt.

Alle elektrischen/elektronischen Einrichtungen (auch Vorhaenge und Tuerkamera) werden ueber das iPad, von dem es 2 im Zimmer gibt, gesteuert. Leider kann man die Helligkeit nicht regulieren und bei Sonnenlicht ist das iPad schlecht ablesbar.

Gibt es für Armani Gäste Sonderkonditionen, um auf die Aussichtsplattform zu kommen?

Kann ich nicht sagen, denn ich habe das bereits vorher gebucht und mich auch nicht danach erkundigt. Es gibt aber zumindest einen extra Zugang fuer Hotelgaeste zur Dubai Mall.
