ja mal wieder Mallorca ;) - und doch irgendwie anders....

Heuer sollte es mal in eine Ferienwohnung gehen und zwar in dem kleinen Fischerdörfchen Portixol, in das wir uns bei unseren letzten Aufenthalten immer mehr verliebt haben.

Die Nähe zu Palma - zehn Minuten mit dem Bus - veranlasste uns dazu, erst für die 2. Woche ein Auto zu mieten und die 1. einfach so vor Ort zu geniessen.

Vor 5 Min. noch im Bett, jetzt am Strand und so lief dann jeder Morgen ab – 30-45 Min Laufen, Croissants holen und um Dreiviertel 9 – Frühstücken auf der Terrasse.

Abends noch am Strand während dem Sonnenuntergang lesen und evtl. noch einen Happen im Tapas Club essen…ich habe in den 2 Wochen sicher nicht nur einmal gedacht, dass ich hier leben könnte.

Unzählige Hunde – kein reinrassiger dabei gewesen – lustige Szenen, interessante Menschen, unglaublich was sich so an einer schier endlosen Strandpromenade alles so abspielt.

das Fibonacci - eine ganz nette Kette mit tollen Brotsorten, wo ich ab und an auch offenfrische Croissants nach dem Laufen holte

oder dann eben in die Markthalle zur berühmten Bar Joan Frau. Hier soll es die beste Paella Mallorcas geben. Die drei Brüder und ihre Mutter führen diese Bar wirklich mit viel Herzblut und allein der Cafe lohnt sich schon hierher zu kommen.

Aber leider hast nicht nur du erkannt,das es in Portixol noch recht ursprünglich ist. Eigentlich der perfekte Ort,nahe dem Flughafen,nahe Palma und der Strand und die Kneipen direkt vor der Tür.
Die Immobilienpreise zeigen das leider auch ziemlich drastisch.In 10 Jahren oder früher ist das "alte" Portixol Geschichte :(

Liebe Anna,
vielen Dank für diesen (wie immer) wunderbaren Reisebericht, den ich mit Begeisterung gelesen habe. Es freut mich, daß Du wieder einmal die Zeit für eine Reise gefunden hast.

Mallorca war bisher eine Urlaubsziel, welches für meine Frau und mich nicht in Frage gekommen ist. Dies nicht unbedingt aufgrund unserer eher alpinen und nicht maritimen Orientierung, sondern aufgrund vieler Berichte, die die teilweise katastrophalen Auswüchse des Billigtourismus (Stichwort: „Ballermann“) zeigen. Dein Bericht zeigt aber nun, daß unser Urteil wohl auf (elitären?) Vorurteilen basiert, denn Mallorca hat offenbar doch wesentlich mehr als den üblichen Massentourismus zu bieten. Portixol würde uns wohl auch gefallen….

Hallo Anna,

wieder mal ein super Reisebericht !
Wenn man den Ballermann ausläßt eine wunderschöne Insel auf der sich gut Leben läßt.
Sehr empfehlenswert ist eine Finca im Hinterland zu buchen. Abseits des Mainstreams, in einer kleinen feinen Umgebung, fast schon Privat zu residieren radiert Vorurteile blitzschnell beiseite.

Was mir auffällt, in Deinen Reiseberichten tauchen immer wieder Bilder mit einer älteren Dame auf. Reist Du immer mit Deiner Mutter?
Soll nicht negativ sein, nur mal aus Interesse, denn ich könnte meine Mutter nicht im Urlaub ertragen :-)
