1016....new to me...actually i could use some opinions.
It is one owner watch, i have complete service records from Rolex each time it went in to RSC. Hands were replaced in 1997 so they are whiter. I am strongly thinking of getting them tinted so they come closer to the shade of the dial . But honestly I can directly tell you what they will say: not to do it. If you want matching color you could also try to search for used ones in good condition.

So I know its better to have the hands that belong to the watc, but it would not bother you to look at it like this?

Some in the states have said the Explorer is no good, it faded away in desire.
I think it is one of the nicest rolex designs...i LOVE it
