Benediktbeurer Leonhardifahrt

Eine der bedeutendsten Wallfahrten zu Ehren des heiligen St. Leonhard ist die Leonhardifahrt in Benediktbeuern. Knapp 250 Pferde fahren von der Dorfstrasse in den Innenhof des Klosters und erhalten mit den zahlreichen Wallfahrern den Segen. Begleitet wird dann der anschließende Festzug von den Gebirgsschützen und Musikkapellen aus den umliegenden Ortschaften.

In den Klostergarten – von dort beginnt ein 6km langer wunderschöner Moosrundweg mit Blick auf die Benediktenwand, Rabenkopf, Jochberg, Herzogstand, Heimgarten, etc.
