Hey guys,

I am wondering who in the English speaking forum has any Mondani Rolex books, such as Rolex Submariner Story, or the GMT book, or the Chronografi (Daytona) book, or 100 years Rolex or any others? Just curious about your opinions?

Hi Boris,

They are very good books for getting an overview of all the references, with a very high quality of print to see small details. The photos are excellent but the written content is lacking. True reference books they are not IMHO and for more detailed research the internet is far better. I have the Submariner Story, GMT master and the double volume Collecting Rolex Wristwatches. The sub book is by far the best!

Hope that helps!

Cheers,

Nick

The Submariner Story is a fabulous book in my opinion, the gmt-master book is ok but not as good as the sub book
by far. I got both of them....

I'll agree on the Submariner Story and the Rolex GMT Master book are about the best, and the notion that the photos are much better than the text. I own most of the the Mondani books, and happen to like the GMT book the best. Here's a couple of my reviews:

Hi John, these are very nice reviews. I love the Submariner Story as well, my favorite. Well, the Submariner is also my favorite watch. ;)
