In my personal opinion, no.
For me, the most attractive S/S watch would probalby be a 5510 big crown or a 1016.

I said it before and I´ll say it again.
The silver subdial-rings make the watch look cheap! The rest is nice but without the proper dial the whole package doesn´t do the trick for me.
I would also go for a non date Submariner for this title.

John, You are right and the pictures are really nice. But wearing an old watch while driving a beamer should be o.k. too.
