Hi Jason, "gilt" is mostly to type the lettering on a dial, if the text is (even partly) in gold it's a "gilt dial".
Serviced: is used to indicate if a watch has had a service or not.
Anything else? Just ask, at your service,
    Peter
    Grub,

Just ask for anything you don't understand

It might be a good idea to establish a short list of specific terms and abbreviations and their explanation. We do have such a list in the german section and it's being used regularly.

Or take the time to learn and read as much as you can on this forum.
There is so much knowledge here available for free, you just have to take the time
And if there is anything specific you need to know fast: just ask!
    Grub,
    Peter

I have to learn because inFrance everybody use these terms, and nobody use it clearly.
For gilt, some use for gmt with the tiny arrow, others for the glossy (brillant) dial, other for pieces totally from stocks after services, or others for 100% original pieces.

So what is " THE " vocabulary I have to learn and what it means ?
